I have never seen such fine crocheting - made with very good eyes! It is beige in color and 7 1/2" across. It is beautiful!!!

It is a very thin thread . It is call tatting thread there is a different kind of needle used to do tatting. My great Aunt's use to do it back in the country. I never learned how to do it.

No that one is crocheted. I've created a similar one. Tatting is different & yes it takes a very talented person to tat. I'm still attempting to learn, my grandmother knew how but died before she could teach me how. So I'm attempting to teach myself. I've learned to master knit finally without her. Now as for the crochet I thank her for being able to bless me with that talent.

Thank you for the info on the thread - I knew that it wasn't "sewing thread" - it just was the only way to describe how fine it is - it came from England.....someone there is very patient and talented.
