It is 11-1/4 " long. it uses 2 double A batteries which
you put in the bottom. this is from PRODUCTS PLUS
in the 2nd pict. it reads as follows:
PUSH , PORK/POULTRY-- WELL--MED.WELL--MEDIUM
RARE-- VERY RARE. AND EACH OF THESE LIGHTS UP. There are metal tips on the thong end..
this has directions on the back. it is not submersable
