It did. If you played 3.5, you will NOT like 4.0 unless you keep an open mind for a new system. Many of the mechanics you have learned simply do not exist in this version.
This is very true. 4e's mechanics are radically different than 3e. 3e had many complex mechanics and different rule synergies, while 4e has simplified many of these mechanics and made it largely less of a burden. They also with the design philosophy of balance. It is much harder (but still do-able) to make an overpowered/underpowered character.
I've been trying to start playing dnd for a while now but I never seen to have the money to afford all the books. And now it looks like I'm going to get out bid, oh well next time then! :)
its nice here..... kinda feels like were all gathered around a nerd table :) hehe... but yea... im a 3.5 player....ive refused to even play 4.0... why you ask?? because i LOVED 3.5.... but yea..... i may end up bidding on this.... why? cause im a hoarder....
