The listing, Vintage Primitive Country Old Washboard Columbus Ohio NICE! has ended.

Made by the Columbus Washboard Co., in Columbus Ohio.
This one is in exceptionally nice condition.
Well preserved.
Please study the photos.
Size is 18" x 8 1/2"
Someone made a key holder out of it.
You can easily unscrew the hooks and take them out.
I will leave it like it is.
Has a wire hanger--again, can easily take the screws out if you want.
The joints are nice and solid.
Made of wood and metal.
The words say;

"Ideal for silks, hosiery and lingerie or handkerchiefs..
just the right size to hit a bucket, pale or lavatory
packs easily into suit case or traveling bag"

Questions & Comments

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the hooks are for catching on the edge of a pail or bucket to keep it from sliding down inside.

this washboard is still being produced today this particular one was first produced in the 70's and was made to look older then it was to produce more sales this one is in very good shape and is still worth about 30 to 80 dollars on ebay hope this helps good luck will be watching and bidding

TY for the info--I appreciate your comments. I guess a really old one(20's or 30's) in this good of condition would be hard to find. People really had to use them way back when.
