The listing, Reprint of Tatting Pattern from 1942 has ended.

I CHARGE SHIPPING! This book has 24 pages and 38 patterns. It has several luncheon sets. Who in their righ mind would put a zillion hours of knot tying on their table where someone can spill something on it and stain it? Certainly not if you have children. Maybe you put them away and only bkring them out for special company. You can always use the designs for something else like an edging or a dresser scarf. Women must have had a lot of spare time in those days.

Hi, Yes I do combine shipping. You pay full ;price the highest prices one and half price for the others. That covers my printing costs. Mom taught me to crochet and embroider at age 7. By 8 I was sewing my own doll clothes on a treadle machine. Couldn't do it sooner as I was to short to reach the treadle. In high school I was sewing my own clothes. In college I short4ened skirts for my whole dorm and made some good money. I was the only one who could sew in the building. I saw a cute Christmas stocking to knit so I learned how to knit. My gram made piles of mittens for the whole family but only in green with a double row of cables on the backs. I knit mittens in all colors and fancy styles too but never in green with two roes of cables. I recently learned hairpin lace but haven't had the time to learn tatting. I offer the patterns to help keep it alive through another generation. I don't have a shuttle but I know there are always some on sale on ebay. I started on a baby outfit since my niece is expecting in January. I will write up the pattern and list it when I get around to it. Did you see my puppet mittens? I made some of those for my two great nephews. Kids love those.Nancy

I learned to crochet at the age of 6, didn't do much with it until I was 19. at 21 I leaned to knit, at 23 I opened up my first online store selling knit and crochet items.

I now work as a crochet designer, and have had many patterns featured in magazines, all digital so far, but the latest is run by the woman who used to run Crochet World

If your printing these, do you have the digital file you can send instead?
