The listing, Shelley Duvall’s Tall Tales And Legends Complete Set 9 DVD’s has ended.

You are bidding on a 9 DVD set of the television series “Shelley Duvall’s Tall Tales & Legends”. This television series originally aired in the mid to late 1980’s on Showtime. This series, along with her Faerie Tale Theatre was one of my daughter’s favorite shows when she was little. My daughter received this set as an adult, & didn't enjoy them as much as she did when she was a child. Each DVD was watched one time & is in excellent condition, plays perfectly. There is no original artwork or cases for these DVD’s. They have been stored in slipcovers in a DVD box.

This auction includes all 9 DVD’s in the series which is the complete set. It includes all 9 episodes of the show, each episode has it’s own DVD. The series uses big celebrities (some of which were big names back then, some of them weren’t) to tell classic tales in the same styling as the Faerie Tale Theatre series. These DVD’s are loads of fun for the whole family!

DVD’s:
The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow – stars Ed Begley Jr as Ichabod Crane. Beverly D Angelo, Charles Durning, Tim Thomerson are some of the other actors/actresses in this episode. Ichabod Crane finds himself trying to win over the heart of Katrina while coming face to face with the Headless Horseman.

Pecos Bill – stars Steve Guttenberg as Pecos Bill. Rebecca De Mornay, Martin Mull, Peter Billingsley are some of the other actors/actresses in this episode. Pecos Bill’s rowdy behavior gets him kicked out of town & he heads for Mexico while saving Texas from a drought.

Johnny Appleseed – stars Martin Short as Johnny Appleseed. Rob Reiner, Molly Ringwald, Anne Jackson are some of the actors/actresses in this episode. Johnny Appleseed travels across the land planting apple seeds teaching us that it’s okay to be different.

John Henry – stars Danny Glover as John Henry. Tom Hulce, Lynn Whitfield, Barry Corbin are some of the actors/actresses in this episode. John Henry makes a name for himself. Revolves around the line “On the night John Henry was born, lightning bolts shaped like nine-pound hammers filled the sky.”

Davy Crockett – stars Mac Davis as Davy Crockett. Adam Carl, Mimi Kennedy, Michael McKean are some of the actors/actresses in this episode. Davy Crockett shows that with bravery & courage anythings possible.

Annie Oakley – stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Annie Oakley. Brain Dennehy, Cliff De Young, Nancy Lenehan are some of the actors/actresses in this episode. Annie Oakley shows us that girls can work guns just as well as guys can, even better.

These DVD’s, like all of my items, are from a smoke free, pet free home.
