I loved this book, and feel that it is time to pass it on, give someone else a chance to read it.
It's about a 9 year old girl who wanders away from her family on a hike in the Maine Appalachian trail. Her imagination and ingenuity is her only defense against her mounting fears and something that has left a trail if slaughtered animals and mangled trees in its path, as she pretends Tom Gordon (Boston Red Sox) is there with her. It is suspenseful and gripping, a real page turner! You will enjoy this book.
