Description

The listing, Mini Cactus Garden-4 Succulents has ended.

Cactus and succulents, including those pictured:
Eve's Needle, Prickly Pear, Barrel, Thimble, and Pincushion Cactus. Agave, Aloe, Yucca, Cereus, Echevara, Jade, and other succulents, cacti, and Tropicals. This auction is for root bare plants. Please note: PLANTS ARE NOT IN THE PLANTER. The plants are well rooted and growing in the sky blue planters but due to damages from shipping of the intact cactus gardens in the past, can't be assured of a safe arrival. So I will remove them, carefully pad and package them at the close of the auction. They are healthy and strong and should not sustain any harm for a short dormant period while being delivered.

Trying again :) Do we have a choice which 5 plants of those listed we get? would they be ok if I planted each on a different planter? does any of them absolutely need to be planted on soil?

Sorry for so many questions at once. Just want to make sure I take good care of them.

Thank you for your interest. I can do my best and fill as many of those you choose but it isn't guaranteed. Some of the plants are not mature enough to handle much stress. I want all of the specimens to survive and thrive. Send me your picks and we will do the best we can. All of them will do quite well in separate containers. Not planted on soil? I am afraid I can't say they will do well with other methods. Good luck bidding!

Oh no, I said that wrong. I meant planted directly on the ground vs a planter lol I was wondering if any of them would not do well in a planter.

Thanks so much for all your help. I've never grown succulents before. I keep trying for veggies and flowers, but I'm in Arizona and would like to start working with nature, not against it :) . The heat most of the year is so high that most plants don't survive, but these succulents should!

I have several that can live outdoors year round, the majority of succulents can't tolerate freezing temps at all, even a few that need temps of at least 50. I will give you the most resilient, for sure. There is one thing about container gardening; the plants will grow and multiply. Propagating and transplanting will be necessary eventually.

That won't be a problem here. I don't think temperature goes below 60 ever in Phoenix. I will put them in bigger pots as needed but how do I know when they need to be transplanted? Any tips?

It's best to freshen the soil every spring.
