Yes it does.
This corset can be used for waist training and tight lacing.
It's not one of those "corset" look a likes. It's really a corset that laces up in the back and has boning to slim your waist and flatten your tummy.

I don't have a model to fit this for a good picture of it anyway so the pic posted is what you get.

I don't think this will fit you then to be honest. Like I stated it fits like an XL. I believe a 40" waist is a XXL or maybe a 3x? This would be snug... and you wouldn't be able to close the lacing in the back very far for sure... but again it totally depends on your build.
I am all torso so I'm long but also thick...this didn't fit me in the middle because of my thickness.
Yet the Tutu part of it fits perfect but yeah...
Sorry I don't feel like I'm much of a help :(

Like I said it really depends on your build.
Tops/Bottoms are sized so different from brand to brand.
This is suppose to be XXXL but imo it fits like a XL.
I'm too thick in the middle for this one for that exact reason.

I have one corset in my wardrobe that is the only corset I found true to size.
But I paid several hundred dollars for it and it's custom made... not something you can just buy online for $50.00 or whatever.

According to the seller I bought this from...bust 36-38,waist 30-32, Hips 40-42 and US size 10-12

I do not believe this is accurate sizing but that's what the seller claims.
