The listing, Vintage Glass Decanter -UNEARTHED! has ended.

Winner of this auction will recieve a beautiful old glass decanter...I found this in the ground will out metal detecting...Surprisingly, it looked to be in very great condition. Buried a little ways beside it was the the topper / stopper, which also looked fantastic...
The junk pile this was resting in contained many other things that lead me to believe things were dumped there from the early '50's to the early '60's...
There is writing on the bottle...the bottom has the saying "Federal law prohibitssale or reuse of this bottle", making this most likely before alcohol bottles were no longer required to carry this on every bottle sometime in the early 60's...
There is also a remaining part of a paper tag that identifies as it containing bourbon from out of Louisville...
The stopper maybe missing a ring, unsure,but will set in the glass decanter perfectly...
The decanter is still somewhat dirty-I only cleaned it off somewhat, so know it will come with some WV dirt...

Decanter is being sold As-Is...I honestly do not see any cracks or chips, but a more professional eye may disagree with me...I'm usually very accurate on what I list...

Not an antique, but still a nice vintage decanter for collectors. Not sure if it's rare or worth any money...

Yeah, just as long as nobody asks the time until I find where I hid the batteries :)
That's what I love about metal detecting-the mystery of it all. If one can be patient through all the junk that'll be dug up, some really neat finds do eventually show themselves!

I have a great spot in Kansas where I find tons of old bottles from 1900 to about 1940.....I love scoring a nice cobalt Blue or just something odd like this....I have found some awesome Whiskeys
