Works great. I plugged it in the computer and cleared everything off so it is ready to go.
I can not find the USB cord at the moment, but will continue to look for it.

Could the USB cord be purchased separately somewhere online if you can't find it? Does it charge using that cord?

It actually uses 2 AAA batteries. The cord is used to connect it to the computer. I did get a USB cord so I will be including it.

The books are TAG books. They are special books to be used with the TAG reader.
