I won this on here also, it doesn't have the charger, it does have the usb cable, I have a charger here that I was able to use and it works great it just is not what I thought and none of my teens wanted it so it's back in here, they all want Ipads. I'm sorry I forgot to put this in here, It is 4gb and 7 in. screen, sorry

Is the charger that you used a different voltage or a different current rating then it should take? Sometimes mixing up chargers with devices can kill the life of the battery... :/

well on the charger it should say input which is the A/C current coming out of the wall socket and then it would say output which should be around 5V maybe 1 amp but the reason I say this is because I used a phone charger for my ipod before I understood anything and the battery life was degraded. Same with my phone when i used my girlfriend's charger with her phone. It would have a full charge and all of a sudden turn off at any moment by itself. But on the tablet it does say 5V DC but no amp rating. So it might be on documents that came with the device or something on the internet about it. But Look on your phone charger and look for output and see what it is. I've also had the same thing happen with a hobbiest R/C car. I had a charger that would "fast" charge a battery and on the documentation for the battery says that the life of the battery would last longer if the amps where set lower. But the charger I had would not allow me to trickle charge the battery and killed my $70 battery in a few months. But that was a different type of battery (NIMH). Lithium ion might act different but in my experience it has killed those types of batteries.

Ok, this is how stupid I am, I thought I was using my phone charge, well one of the chargers here, and I was plugging it into the hole for headphones, DUH!! But in the book it shows the hole where the DC jack go's, which when I won it I knew she did not have the charger for it so I was using the usb hole to charge and it came to me fully charged so I played with it a little bit and tried to read the manual telling me how to use it but I confuse very easily. I don't know if this helped at all or not but if there is anything I can do to help just ask and again thank you.
