it is quartz..and the band is a plastic rubbery material..not quite sure exactly. hope this helps. :/

yes it seems to be working so I assume that the battery is good. and it feels heavy to me.
but I have not taken it out to weigh it.

thanks...it has a diving bezel...but it is probably water resistant....trying to Google it. Nice watch...I am a big girl 6 ft. tall and need a big watch...my hands are as big as my hubbys and he is 6 ft. 7" so it would be good for either of us....love it.
