The listing, Notebook Computer / NO OS has ended.

This is a re-list. It was listed as having no OS but it came with nothing. Just the computer. I thought I might have a charger to fit it, but I don't and I don't have time to fool with it. I'm listing it as *NOT WORKING*

This is an Elovo X6, an android/ARM Laptop. 7 inch screen that can push resolutions of 800x480, has 512MB - 1GB of ram, runs a 1.5 Ghz processor, and has 4-8GB of internal storage. It's basically an android device, minus the touch screen, with a keyboard and no 3g receiver.

If there's no is, it might be difficult to reinstall one. It depends on what happened to the is in the first place. It could be as easy as using an SD card or as difficult as flashing a new BIOS images to the actual motherboard.

An android doesn't have an OS does it? Since a cell phone doesn't have an Operating System unless its a windows phone I would say that this android netbook does not need an OS. But if a person is good at computers, this would not really be a problem to fix or actually figure out how to work it. Thanks for the info carnagetoxin, it was helpful!

@MrsDallman Android is an operating system, as is Windows Mobie (the windoes phone OS) and apple's iOS, which is what iPhones run on. Actually, Android OS is a version of Linux, made to work on a mobile platform and distributed by google's AOSP of Android Open Source Project. Any computer that you can interface with has an OS, including game consoles, phones, and ipods. The operating system is what allows the device to do what we tell it to do, and it's what allows us to interface with the device either by touch, speech, or inputs from a button or buttons.

I can add i found 5 laptops in trash 3 of them i sold to company got $225 for the other two were way old not worth much one i put up here was an HP compaq shipped for $15 due to weight and dsiatnce but could be working with new hardware for about $150 person was happy with it and now has afully functinoning lap top for less than 1/2 the cost of new one! SO if it powers up it's good to go ! Because it dosent boot up means the disk was wiped clean and can be fixed to be used ! Cash value as is about $25
