Not a problem. If you look at the object, on the right side, that is PS/2 male. On the left side of the object is USB. This is an adapter that allows any pc, especially older computer that have PS/2 (female) to connect to USB. If you google "PS/2", you might getter better info. HTH.

This is an adapter, like a converter for connector. such as keyboard and mouse. I am not sure of the game you are referring to.

this is to use a usb mouse, for example, on a serial (ps/2)type plug-in on the back of your computer tower, right? not for use to connect a ps2 (playstation 2) to your computer. is that right?

This is PS/2, and not PS2, so I would have to say you are right. I've used this for old pc to connect keyboard that have usb connector. I do not know anything about playstation. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
