The listing, Rare vintage or Antique Mickey Mouse Disney Desk lamp has ended.

This is a very old and rare Mickey mouse lamp. It could be used as a desk or table lamp, or put up for display for a Mickey or Disney collector. The lamp is in very nice to excellent condition. It has only typical wear for an item of this age. Because of the value of this item, and its fragile nature. Shipping is a little high. But will include insurance up to $200.00. Hi. This lamp is about 17.5" tall from base to very top.

Unfortunately it does not have a date on it. But the cord does go up through bottom base of l lamp (opposed to the side of base or anywhere else). And the material he lamp is made if has many very feint hairline crack look. Like the look of lead base paint in old houses. Kind if web pattern (not cracked as in damaged just aweb like look. Both very strong indicators that its pretty darn old.

its weird, ive seen Mickey Banks that look exactly like the base of the lamp,im wondering if somebody turned a bank into a lamp?

I don't know. The lamp is not hollow. Though i suppose if someone is capable of converting a bank to a lamp, they probably have the skills to fill it in. It would explain why i could not locate this lamp anywhere on the internet. Thanks for your info!

If I were to bid & win would it be possible to use my shipping method? I use UPS and I can actually have the driver come directly to you, I get a tracking number & all shipping is covered and if we wanted to insure it too that would be fine. Ups is very strict on their shipping policies tho it has to be packaged really well. I bought an 1800's school desk off here for 100,000 credits and I covered the $100 shipping with ups and all the guy did was package it with newspaper. And of course it was broken when I got it & ups would not pay for the damage since it was my account. so I just have to mention that but if that's ok with you and I win ill explain more. It's super easy, let me know :-) thank you & fanned ya too

Hi to reassure you I've been selling on eBay for about 5 years with feed back in 1000's and 100% pos. So been packaging a long time and I will pack Mickey very well! :-)
If you did bid and win I'm ok shipping via UPS but they can be pretty pricey. Small items like this I'd say your best bet is priority (USPS) or even ground through FedEx. However ill send winning bidder any method they prefer. No prob!! Thnx for looking.

Thanks mark, :-) I'm gunna keep checkin in on your auctions too cuz you seem to have some really cool and different items. Oh and no worries about the shipping. My family has a business & I use their shipping department so UPS shipping is free for me hehe so covering any shipping costs is never a problem. It's how I've been able to ship over 650 items on Listia. Anyways, I hope I have enough credits for this. I guess we wil find out tomorrow :-) thanks again
