FREE: Vintage Lace Chapel Veil Antique

I was born and raised Catholic. My mother wore one of these every Sunday to Mass. It was a rite of passage as me and my three sisters became of age, we were given longer and longer veils to wear to church. We called them "Mantillas". As a child, a small circular round lace was all that was required to cover a females head in the church, but as one got older, more and more of the face would be covered by a longer veil. I was taught this was a show of respect for our Mother Mary, and all Nuns, who covered their heads in respect, and in reverence. I'm sorry the practice is not instilled in our young girls today. So I will win this and give it to my mother, whom I love and respect... And thank her for instilling in me the love and reverence of our Lord.
