This is a Beautiful Genuine Mink Hat and Collar set bought at an estate sale. It comes in the Original box with All the original tags and receipt including a return for exchange reciept.The collar is 27 1/2 inches long and the hat measures 21 1/2 inches around the band area.It has the original tag inside the hat as well, and also the original stickpins still in place so be careful. The tage inside the hat reads "Precious Furs by Marche". The Original purchase date is 11-16-64 and the return/exchange receipt says 12-3-64. Reciept is signed by purchser whose name is Mrs Nelson.The box is in great contion for it age, only has a few sections with paper chipping spots. The bottom of the box has a B and other writting that I can't make out. The top of the box say "Holmes Millinery Salon". It's actually D.H.HOLMES. I assume the person that bought it didn't wear it, It's still in new condition. The Only thing I can find anything with is the collar, it doesn't have any snaps or hook n eyes, I don't know if it ever had any.It's evidently hand sewn with a couple of pinkish spots, maybe a stain from something pink I don't know.
I never had one so I don't know if this is just how it was made to be worn or not. Sold the way I purchased it, AS IS. I wish I could fit it, I wouldn't sell it,lol. My head is just a tad bit larger than the hat. Wonderful gift for yourself or someone else.
If the shipping is less I'LL Refund the difference. It's light but the size of the box makes a difference.
