About the artist: I have been creating art since I was a small child. I am several classes away from having a Bachelor's degree in studio art at SIUC. I am also working towards a minor in psychology. I just recently had a co-written article with Barbara Bickel selected for publishing in the UK Journal of Arts and Communities. It should be coming out within the next year. Exciting!

I am a happily married mother and currently expecting my second. My family is my light. Making art has been a great journey in my life and a creative outlet for my battle with systemic Lupus. I am grateful for the support of my loved ones, friends, my crafts and paints. = )
