Nice collection of Guitar picks. Wish I played!!!!! :) Got one but don't a know a note from just noise. Hey noise sounds good.
@raychwv, I hadn't picked up a guitar in 36 years, since I was 14. I only (tried) played for a few months until I was forced to let it go. At 50 I bought my first real guitar, a Les Paul Junior, a multifunction pedal and amp. I've been playing it everyday, actually playing it, not just hitting notes or scales for several months now and even got on stage once with a friends band, but I kept a VERY low profile that night, lol. Take a chance, try to win one here, there's several going now. I'll pm you a beginner's book that I won here and it's listed again, it's a digital download unlike the courses. Most of the beginner courses are asking for shipping, but it's low cost so they're well worth it. Also, sign up for every online newsletter you can find, they all give out little lessons in many of their emails and many enter you automatically to win a course. I know this as I won an 8 disc and book beginners course from Guitar Ninja. Sure, it was for acoustic, but who cares, it's still valid and the 8th disc discusses electric anyhow. So, get those fingertips sore for awhile, it's so worth it. Playing live? It was almost as cool as the obstacle course in the Army in '82! Slightly more exciting as the birth of my daughter. Wait, did I confuse those two????? I guess you'll never know ;-)
