Nope, it's brand new. I only took it out of the plastic for photographs.

It's not a Zippo, nor is it marked with a brand name.

Correct it takes fluid and a flint like Zippos. It's new, so it needs to be filled with butane before it can be used.

No, sorry, not butane, it takes lighter fluid like most other lighters. I was thinking about my torch lighter before... sorry about your confusion.
