Description

The listing, Vintage Crescent Silverplate Serving Platter Dish, Pattern #87EF has ended.

This is a stunning vintage, silverplate, round serving dish by Crescent Silverware Mfg. Co., Inc. The dish is designed with three beautifully decorated legs.

It is about 12 inches in diameter and weighs about 1.6 pounds.

The base of the dish is marked with the word Crescent, has the company hallmark, and the pattern number 87EF.

The Crescent Silverware Mfg. Co., Inc. was founded in 1922 in New York City, and moved to Port Jervis, New York in 1939.

For the past forty years they made only silver plated hollowware. This highly collectible piece is in excellent condition and was just recently polished to a beautiful shine.

Shipping for this will be more expensive than most things I list, so please bid generously :)

20 watchers, but very few bidders. Are you guys waiting until last minute to bid? I was hesitant to list this because of its value, but I hope people come out of the woodwork and bid.

The comment about shipping being expensive means it'll probably cost me a bit to ship this and insure it since it's so large and heavy and will need insurance. Hopefully people bid high so it's worth it.

Found one of these on an antique website for $49. Mine is exactly the same, so I borrow some of the information. Sometimes Lista makes links not work, but here's the link if you want to check it out:
