This brand new, unopened package has 8 long, flexible beading needles. These allow you to strong a bunch of little beads at one time, then push them onto your string. String your thread or wire through the round eye at the end, which collapses when you slide the beads over it (for small hole beads). Very handy for dealing with seed beads, or for setting up your bead pattern.

Funny story ... I ordered some more of those glass animal beads everyone loves from a guy on ebay. Turns out he's getting out of the biz so he shipped me a 17-pound box of many kinds of beads! They are wonderful, but I can't use that many beads in 10 lifetimes. So, I will be offering LARGE lots of these beads, BIG variety including pink-ribbon (breast cancer) beads, millefiore and other glass, coin-shaped, all sorts of variety.

I think most people use them for beading seed beads, which are hard to handle. The beading needles let you put a bunch of seed beads on the needle, then push them down onto the string (the eye at the end of the needle collapses). Might also work with chip beads.

Lots of places have bead stores that offer classes. I never took any, just kind of muddled through on my own. Lots of good info on the internet these days
