wow I pay$2.90 at post office for a tracking number, I just ordered this package but they said you have to pay $17.95 a month to use it. so are you saying if i get this then I don't have to pay that fee?

Anyone can print postage on USPS.com or www.paypal.com/shipnow. Anything three ounces or less is $1.69 including tracking. $.20 for each additional ounce. Tracking is free on Priority Mail.

I don't want to mislead anyone with this auction. Anyone can print postage for free from USPS or Paypal, whether they have this scale or not. The winner will receive the scale, USB cable, and free software to read the weight. This is NOT stamps.com software so you are not locked into their overpriced service.

Thanks and happy bidding!

So you pay $15.99 a month for something you can do for free? Who is getting ripped off again?

Great auction. FREE shipping is a great way to offer items and get higher bids. A lot of folks don't know how inexpensive shipping can be. There are those that want to make money and credits at the same time, like on eBay. We ship alot and the scale and FREE shipping saves our buyers a bunch. My two cents worth. F&W.

Hey local-yocal! My sis just "borrowed" my old dial scale. Would love to pick up a new digital!

Woah, local is right! I lived in Graham for six years before moving to the west side of Burlington!

Good luck bidding; if you can do local pick-up and save me the shipping costs, I always throw in some goodies :)

Perplexer. i have this set up and pay the $15.99 to stamps.com, but you have something that i can by pass and still use my scales with your software, im in. i think some people are missing the point.

Yes, I agree. I tried to list the benefits to owning a digital scale, but I should have never even mentioned stamps.com since it doesn't play any part in this auction :) Stamps.com doesn't want you to know that you can still weigh things with their scale but not their service. Cheers!

And I'm saying that you don't NEED to give stamps.com your $15.99/month "convenience" fee. Just use this scale (they call it a $50 value) with FREE software for an accurate weight for your packages. Then use USPS.com or Paypal Ship Now to print your labels WITH postage.

well, you certainly taught me something today. I use stamps.com and have one of their scales, but I wasn't aware I could you it without their software system online. Thanks for listing this and in the process answering so many questions. I have no idea why that man up this list was paying for a tracking number, but I guess he is. Pinned, tweeted and share this on FB. Come check out my auctions, too and thanks again for the information. I don't need a scale, but I'm still going F & W this auction.

We use Stamps.com and have this scale. It is so nice to be able to print out own shipping labels. We find them much much cheaper than usps. our fee is 15.95 a month but very worth it ........ :)

If you have a paypal account you can purchase shipping right through them. This scale would weigh your item and you just plug in the weight and then print the label. I am using a kitchen scale right now so this would be fantastic.... Awesome Action!!!

Thanks, I wouldn't be able to handle packaging my items up, hand writing my address labels, driving to the post office, writing out a delivery confirmation slip, then having them weigh and charge me the right amount. I can take care of all that online now! Thanks!

Wow! Awesome!
Would love to have this but I don't think I have enough credits.
Have enough to bed right now but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have enough to win.
Would love to have this though, because I am blind and have been having a little bit of trouble getting my items out as quickly as I would like.
Especially since my daughter is not only going To high school, but she also started a job this week.
I checked into stamps.com, but decided I couldn't really afford that service.
Awesome for whoever wins this one.

One nice feature on a USB scale is that it shows you the weight on the computer instead of on the scale itself, and you can use accessibility tools to increase the size of the display weight, or have the PC read it to you. Good luck if you happen to bid!

This is awesome people pay flat rates because the weighing gets confusing. With the scale it cuts your shipping cost way down. Say small flate rate box is like 5.15 you can send the same package same delivery time for 1.69 and I think like .80 for tracking. Would get this but not enough credits

This! I cringe when I receive a package that weighs like 10 ounces, and it is in a medium flat rate box. I think, WOW! They could have paid $3.26 for this instead of $12.35! Thanks for the comments!
