Description
The listing, 1940s WWII Army garrison/hat with rare "KEEP EM FLYING" print has ended.
All original 1940s WWII U.S. Army hat with plane and keep em flying print on it. Keep em flying America was simply a message of hope of winning a war. This is the only Original Army hat I have seen in person with that print.
Questions & Comments
This is from the 1940's but it is not Army issue, this is USO issue and could have been worn by some very famous people such as Bob Hope, The Pointer Sisters, Dinah Shore, or even Bud Abbott and Lou Costello.
I thought the providence was good that this one was Army issue because it was in a box with a complete WWII Army uniform at an estate sale but I am no expert when it comes to uniforms. Very interesting information and I appreciate the shared knowledge, There is no numbers or tag on the inside, in fact there is nothing other than the print on the front. Thanks again for the info.
