They are bicentennial 1776-1976 with a mint mark of D.

only bicentennials with a S mint mark are 40% silver a D or a no mint mark is not sliver . sorry

the only Eisenhower coins EVER minted in 40% silver are "S" mint marks.

Well tommygun im not sure why. I've had these now for a year and have never removed them for any reason so i'm not sure why they look that way. Sorry i sound dumb.
