The listing, A raw pure amethyst deposit, I found while caving. has ended.

It is a chunk of raw amethyst I found while caving in the caves of Missouri. It is hard to find unpolished, untainted amethyst in nature. I have a lot more but I wish to give this piece to someone who enjoys rocks and minerals.

What an exciting find!!! I have collected various rocks and minerals since I was a child and enjoy it so much, they are so beautiful and I am a believer that they have powers to help a person with calming or energy or whatever you might feel you need. LOL! I get told I am easily entertained and it's true...who needs TV if I can have some birds or rocks to check out. I admit I am a bit of a nature freak but I could have worse habits :) I am bidding and hopefully winning too!!

To be honest about as much as quarts in this condition, Polished and shaped Amethyst is worth a lot more for jewelers, but a natural deposit like this, even this small, Is hard to find while exploring caves or anything else for that matter, but anyone that has passion for stones like I do they would understand that the value of the cash does not matter, but the joy of the find :)

Caving is a fun thing to do, If you know what you are doing, I suggest studying and getting proper equipment before you try it. It can be very dangerous if you don't.
