Purple Queen (Setcreasea pallida) is a gangly member of the Commelinaceae family whose members include Spiderwort and Wandering Jew. The fleshy purple leaves are attached to a succulent stem, which spreads over the ground or drapes from a hanging basket. It is native to Tropical America and grows in full sun to part shade. The Purple Queen is very salt tolerant and is not fussy about the soil type.
This first photo is a stock type photo, the second is of the actual plant that you are bidding on. As I live in Ohio, I hang my "queens" out all summer long, but bring them into the sunroom during winter. These are VERY hardy plants, from my own plants.
This plant actually doesn't need roots to take, u can put it right into the soil and it will grow!
