This book belonged to my father and it was stored in my family home for the past 60 some years.

This is, in my opinion (after review), an excellent reference and how to book on home repairs. I wish I known that this was stored away in my mothers home as it would've been a great resource book that I could have used. It's pretty amazing how little has really changed in basic home repairs over the years and how relevant most of the content still is.

I think that this book would be described as being in overall decent condition.

The cover boards are straight and squared, the corners and the edges of the spine are bumped and slightly frayed. The binding is tight and all the pages are accounted for and intact.

The pages have yellowed a bit from aging, more so on the inside of the covers and on the first and the last few pages of the book.

No pen or pencil marks were noticed on or in this book.

There is some slight damage on the cover boards and what appears to be some moisture and page leaching damage on the inside of the covers but there are no water damage marks on or in this book. There is a mild old book smell to this book which well most likely fade as this book outgasses, after being stored for years.

It is approx. 8 1/2" x 11" and it has 438 numbered pages and it weighs in at a slightly over 3 lb.'s

All in all an good old home repair guide book as it is and one that would be an ideal candidate for restoration.
