When you first turn the phone on it says it is from Trac Phone. However, Trac Phone, Straight Talk and Net 10 are under the same company so you can use it on either. I am not sure but you might be able to unlock it and use it on any network that uses AT&T and T-Mobile towers.

about hoe old is this phone please???

This particular model was actually released in 2011, however the phone itself is a little over 7 months old. There is your usual wear and tear on the phone, but nothing major. All in All it is in really good condition. The touch screen is very responsive, no cracks or breaks, just a small scratch. The phone itself works great and I would probably put it at about a 9/10.

Yes, this phone like many others were manufactured and sold for use with many different companies. So, you might find one with Sprint, At&t or Straight talk. It just depends on where you buy the phone as to where you can use it and what towers it uses.

Yeah, that's not cool. You have to be really choosy when purchasing anything expensive on here or any other used auction site for that matter. People will always try to take you for a buck! Well good luck! Between this and the ZTE I have up, I would myself personally choose the ZTE, if you are comfortable with Sprint service. This one is smaller and runs on the older OS "froyo". However, it is still a phenomenal little phone and is very reliable.

Yes, you can use the Wi Fi for free in cafes and really anywhere they offer free wifi services. I am not comfortable with putting your personal information (ie - facebook info) in a picture on a public website. I am sorry, but i can not do that.

No, this is a pre-paid phone and does not come with sim card capabilities. You can use a Mini SD, but not a GSM sim card. Sorry.

Yes it is a touch screen and very responsive. As stated in the description it is a "candy bar" model type phone and that means basically exactly how it sounds. The phones design resembles that of a candy bar. That means that there is not a slide out part, so that would make it a qwerty keyboard. It does have talk to text capabilities as well.
