I do not see any mint marks( You do mean D or S,right? ) and I think those others leave comments because You get some kind of brownie points the ones just below Your name on Your account page.

on the back of the only one you show, on the right side of monticello is a mark, or a scratch, I can't make it out.

If you look at the nickels even way back to the 1800's the mint mark is on the front and back. Some years it's on the front other years on the back.

until 1980 the Pa. mint mark was left off. All of us who collect coins just knew the blank ones came from Pa.
There were also "C" Charlotte N.C., "C.C." Carson city, "D" Dahlonega, Ga.

Rare is how you look at it. the 1962 which was the original auction there was 97 Million made. While the 1962 D there was 280 Million made.
Then in 1964 and 1964D there was over 1 Billion made.
