This particular copy is dated 1967. briefly, The tyrone family, they seem to be a tormented dysfunctional family, their mother mary has an illness, the father is a drinker and an actor, he likes his whiskey and is a miser. the house is cheap and in a bit of disrepair, the eldest son jamie is a bit of an alcoholic, likes women and drinks a lot at the bars, the youngest edmund is also a bit of an alcoholic and was a bit of a writer. The four of them try to hide from life and the truth about edmund and want to get lost in the fog. This is an interesting book to read and I also suggest watching the movie with katherine hepburn.
