are these fabrics cotton?

Yes, except for the 3rd pic over, the lavender and green are more silky type fabric.

You can also request any combination of the florals and solids. As a bonus I'll include 5 more squares.

You can select 5 or 10 squares of a certain fabric or 15 or 25 it doesn't matter. You can choose all 40 squares of just 1 of the fabrics or get a little bit of everything. Its up to you.
