Description

The listing, Bicentennial 1976 US mint set ( P's &D's ) has ended.

This mint set is still in it's original plastic from 1976. It has:
2 Eisenhower bicentennials - 1 Philadelphia, 1 Denver
2 Kennedy bicentennials - " " " "
2 Washington bicentennials - " " " "
2 1976 Roosevelt dimes - " " " "
2 1976 Jefferson nickels - " " " "
2 1976 Lincoln pennies - " " " "

These coins have never been out of their plastic package, yet, they definitely have a color to them from age.
I don't know why they seem to have these effects on each other, but, it's kind of a pretty effect.

I will ship this carefully, and as soon as possible, in an orange envelope that has been reinforced with cardboard.

I rarely check what the real world value of things are. I guess I should.

So that I'm not misunderstood. The post I left shows these sets went for $15 wholesale a piece so $30 if bought direct from the minter almost 30 years ago. It's too painful to watch them go for under 10,000 points Mr. Cat. But I will fan instead of watching. Best of luck!

Things on Listia "sell" above their value as often as they sell below it, I think. It all evens out in the end. Watching an auction is half the fun.

There should be an option to go back into a comment and make corrections. That way, we could always be perfect.

Maybe I should just get and keep to give to my adult grandchildren... Lol. My kids are still babies so their value to collectors will go even higher. Plus there were a bunch that got melted down.

Yeah, I think you're right. I think if you see what gift cards go for on here, you can say that is the case.
Sometimes things go for more, when two or more people all want something bad enough. Sometimes they go for less if it ends at 3:00 A.M. or the seller charges too much for shipping or something.

so as long as i have credits to win an auction for something I want and shipping is free then I will never need to use Paypal or pay out of pocket is that correct?
Aug 31st, 2013 at 1:25:44 AM PDT by
Original
Yes, As a buyer, if you only bid on things where the seller offers free shipping, you'll never have to pay money on Listia.

cool....so when i sell the amount of credits it sells for will be in my account? i hope im not being a pain...i been really trying to figure this out...i REALLY appreciate it...lol... That will be the last question I promise

As a new seller, after your auction ends, you will need the buyer's verified address. You won't get the credits until after the seller receives what they won and leaves feedback. Always use a tracking number, buyers always receive your package when tracking is used.
After you build up a history of reliability, credits come quicker.
