if its locked you need to find out what language it was on to be able to unlock it. my husband found one cleaning out an apartment... he is maintenance and the owner was going to trash it cause he couldnt get it to work. well when he figured out it was locked in italian he went on our computer and found out how to unlock it. if it doesnt hold a charge like the one he found... then you have to keep it plugged in all the time in which case it ceases to become a laptop.. something we can carry.

I don't know that much about these devices to know what to do. I bought it here on listia. It came on when I got it but now it wont. that's why I think the cord is bad. The charging light goes on and then turns off.
