Oh, yes! My family originated(on my father's side) from England in 1630.! My parents went over there, I have a small catalog they bought from the Windsor Collection of Crowned Jewels, I was just looking at it the other day.Amazing stories behind the crowns, too and how they came to be and who wore them! One was very old , went back to the 1200's . The history is amazing!

No wonder this spoon would mean a lot to you. I lowered the bid for you, hope it was enough.

I would bid if you'd lower the starting bid significantly,it's very nice, and I have a Charles and Diana wedding plate, and a letter opener from Elizabeth's Coronation , this would help get my "collection" going! Fand w Fan me back please! Thanks!

I put the starting bid high because I wanted to find someone who would appreciate the history it represents. I will lower the starting bid but not a whole lot. It is old and silver and I think very special. Thanks for your inquiry. I do believe you would treasure it as much as I have.

Thanks! I'm in! At least for the moment, lol!! I lost on a ring I really wanted tonight by 70 credits, I was bidding for the longest time against another lady and in the last 3 minutes some little devil came and snatched it away from us both!! Lol!! I was so sad!! Ah well, what can you do?

You're singing my song. Can't tell you how many I've lost in the last 15 seconds of an auction. But you know what, there is more where that came from and you will probably find one you like better. Good luck. AND thanks for bidding on the spoon, I feel pretty sure you will win it. I'll keep my fingers crossed, and my knees and my eyes, lol

Hahaha! What's even more frustrating is when they show up in the last three seconds, and you can get your bid in, you have to wait for them!! lo!! And after I wrote the last comment I went back to review my messages and realized a lady had offered to give me back 515 points , the day before, for a painting I bid on and won, then it got torn when she took it off the wall! I hadn't really decided what to do about it! So , I just wrote her and said, I'll be happy to take the credits , back!! I could kick myself for hesitating! But anyway , yes, maybe it will help me to get this spoon!

My sister would say "you snooze, you lose" and I say, "I gotta snooze sometime" If you were on Listia all day whatever would you get done.

He is adorable. I predicted a couple of months ago that his name would be George. They look to be an attractive and happy family.

Good prediction! You were right! You might be clairvoyant! Yes, they certainly do look happy! Also I have a question , I noticed another spoon looks just like this one but it's silverplate , on the internet. This one is Sterling, correct? The other one I saw says Wm Rogers on the back , would you mind checking it, please? Ty
