Both of these will fit in any older computer tower to add a little more memory and space/speed. They would also fit in most new computer towers as well but with the advanced new speed of a new computer one would not have need for either of these. These are strictly for someone who just needs a little more space and speed.

The SpekTek is made by Levin and is 256MB

Compaq = MEM DIMM = 64 MB

Installing these are very simple if you have never done so. You simply find the points on your tower to remove the side they allow so you can get inside. Once inside simply take the stick/card and insert it into the slot where it fits. There are usually 3 to 6 (maybe more) slots like this. At least in the older towers that I have owned throughout my life.

Until recently I had to use older towers and used them for many years with little or no complaints. Even at this moment I am on a 4 year old Acer laptop. It works just fine for me. Plays video, watch movies yada yada.

It's pretty cool to know how to speed things up on these older models!
