So this is NEW never been used? When was it purchased? Is/was it someone else's ? Just asking because I got almost Scammed from one that Said NEW Never Opened and it was registered used and no time/year of service. Basically I had to PAY to reactivate it plus once registered the NAME can't be changed - QUOTED From MagicJack Support. The address, phone # and so on can be changed but never the name once the device is registered. Please verify this is 100% New never been used/registered.

Note: Magic Jack requires either DSL, WiFi or Cable Internet (Satellite not recommended). You plug this one into your computer (desktop/laptop/tablet) USB Port and plug a Corded or Cordless phone to get dial tone just simply pick up the phone as long as the Computer is on the internet. Dial the # you want to call in the USA and you don't have to even pay a long distance cost. Can call Landline's or Cell phones. Costs normally about $40 with 1 year of service. The Magic Jack Plus is Direct Network plug to your modem or router with a USB Power Adapter or plug it into your PC and then plug in a phone. You can purchase 1 year each year or up to 5 years of service thru magic jack's website / login page once you register your device. There are flaws but compared to the money you will save on long distance fee's etc I believe it is worth the $. Also you will not want to use the PC for games etc or browse the internet with another PC if you have many PC's on your internet. If you do make sure you have a 10MB High Speed Internet Service or higher.

I bought this one new about a year ago, its never been used we decided to get cell phones instead of a house phone...so now we have no use for it. it is 100% new. I'm sorry someone did that to you...but this ones not a joke and hasnt been activated. happy bidding!

Could you plug it into a computer and show that it hasn't been activated with a picture of what shows up when it is plugged into the computer?
