That won't be possible because I would need to use the money to ship it to you and I can't get a refund from the postal service

Hi Jenyguz123,

i just wanted to inform you that at the present time although you are the highest bidder the auction is not over therefore I do not have your credits. The credits you used to bid are being held by Listia should you win the auction. What you can do is stop bidding. Hopefully someone will out bid you and when the auction is over Listia will refund your credits. Hope this helped.

Hi Jenyguz123,

I forgot to mention that if you do become the winner and you decide you no longer want the item per listia rules the credits become mine. But I think we might be able to work something out.

I DO NOT have your credits. It is being held by Listia until the end of the auction. If you are the winner when the auction ends I will refund your credits.

Hi jenyguz123,
At the moment the seller does not have your credits. You see this is how it works:
Step 1: You make a bid
Step 2: Listia will take out the credits you used to bid and will hold on to them.
Step 3: The auction ends and the credits will go in the direction of:
A) The seller IF you win the bid
B) Back to the bidder if you did not win the auction.

****NO BIDDED CREDITS ARE RETURNED OR SENT TO THE SELLER UNTIL THE AUCTION ENDS****
Then there is the LISTIA RULES, that states that if a bidder WINS an auction and decides they don't want the item, the SELLER can KEEP the credits and relist the item. It also states that a seller can keep the credits if the bidder does not get verified or pay for shipping (if applies) within 7 days after the auction ends. However a bidder can get their credits back IF:
A) The seller does not ship item within 7 days AFTER receiving verification and/or payment. If package has tracking and proves shipment was sent out before the 8th day, the seller is still within guidelines.
B) If seller never responds to winner about winning item.
It may take some time to get use to how this works but you'll get it. :)

Does anybody know how to put a price on an auction on listia??
Sep 7th, 2013 at 2:17:43 PM PDT by

If its something that isn't worth much I would often leave it blank and let the people bid on it. but if its worth more than 20.00 I would often put the bidding to start at 499. but that's just me. I hope this helped and good luck. :) just do your best. you'll be surprise how it works out for you in the end.

Yea the seller can keep your credits, and 're list the item if you chose you don't want it or can't pay the shipping, BUT the seller can chose to refund your credits instead of keeping them. If she wants too.. No one ever says that.
