Description

The listing, American Girl Bitty Baby. has ended.

This is a original American Girl Bitty baby. It is marked on the neck the Pleasant Toy Company. This was my daughter's first baby doll and she just turned 18. He has on a diaper, onsie and jeans. He is in pretty good shape. Strings are still on his head. Fabric body is in good shape. Can fit any doll clothes for this size doll. He is 14 inches. Great first baby AG doll for young child. Eyes open and closes with ease.

As always free shipping tracking and a smoke free home. I only ship once a week during the Summer because I have Lupus.

Any questions please ask. He/she is loved but lots left.

Happy bidding.

I don't know maybe they have trust issues.
I am watching this doll, I buy dolls find clothes and what not and give them to the poor at Christmas. This dolly would be great. As she is used I write up a small card noting that it was previously loved and the little girl grew up and wanted someone real special to have her now. The parents can give the note to the kids or not, I just that that it makes it a little more special.

this is a good auction but I do have to add that the doll isn't at all an American girl doll its a regular doll and stateing that its something it is not is false advertisement so I highly suggest that you place the correct info for this auction if you don't want to be reported for placing false information for this auction

I bought this doll at the American Girl store when it was the Pleasant Toy company here in Wisconsin. The doll is marked on the back of the neck with that mark. They have the bitty baby and bitty twins. I know what I have and what I bought. I would not ever advertise something that wasn't. My daughter is 18 years old and this was the first doll I bought.

I chose not to hide the comment by sexylilpixie69 because I know when and where I bought this doll. The company was in my home state just outside of Madison and every year they opened their doors for one big sale and you could get one doll at a cheaper price. It was a fundraiser for the children's museum. I went for a few years.
I'm not sure why people feel the need to come to auctions and cause problems. I made a point of taking a picture of the company name on the back of each dolls neck.

If bidding goes well I will look for a outfit for this doll also. The bitty baby fits 15 inch size clothes. I'm looking for gender neutral.

Please look up who started the American Girl doll line and you will see the name on both Molly and this bitty baby. These are the original dolls made.

Thank you, the company was owned by someone else before Mattel. The dolls are all marked on the neck with the owner's name. That's why I took the picture to show that they are original AG dolls.

You have your information correct. Prior to being purchased by Mattel the dolls were marked differently.
Does the doll have any ink marks on it? Teeth marks? Does the doll have all its finger and toes?
How dirty is the body?

Thank you, the company was started by Pleasant Rowland. This line came out in 1996. I believe I bought this is 1998 for my daughter. The doll has no ink marks. All the fingers and toes are intact. The fabric body is very clean. Pretty good condition for the age of the doll.

The last picture shows the mark of the Pleasant Doll company. The Molly doll I have has the same mark on the back of her neck. The company was later bought by Mattel.
