I can do a different charm, but have to be careful how much weight is put on the plug. It presently is balanced well with two charms... the little glass with fairy dust, and a second charm. Adding a third, if too (large) of a charm, may make it too heavy. A small crystal may be added, but not the large crystal that I have within the Frog. Hope this helps.
