Btw, if you put the camera on a tripod, or on something stable, like a stack of books and DON'T use the zoom feature, your pictures should come out better. To get close ups, edit the pictures after you load them onto the computer. They will come out clearer.
I will have to get my daughter to try,I am not that smart when it comes to computers. But I will post new pics when she gets off work this afternoon. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!
sorry no paper work just the 14K PC that is stamped inside ring and is this small town I can not even get any of my jewelry appraised for insurance have to go to another town and the closest is 2 hours away
Without the authenication paper, it's hard to say for sure, but PC could mean that the stones are Princess Cut or the gold is Proportioned Content (mixed with another metal) Either way, sounds like a pretty ring, just wish ur pictures were clear.
To contact Listia, go to the bottom of any page and click on 'Member Support'. Go to the last option on that page where it says ' submit a ticket'. I think that's what it says. Then just fill out the form and send it in.
PC doesn't men gold plated, if it was stamped GP then it would be gold plated. PC probably stands for princess cut or proportioned content, but still gold. If it doesn't stick to metal that is a good thing, that means it is a pure metal, most likely gold. I would still keep the auction up, people interested should read all the comments and description and can decide for themselves. I would just add a comment that you can't guarantee it is real gold to cover yourself.
Its fine keep it up also take some liquid base make up rub it on ur arm then rub the gold part of ring across it if it leaves black streaks it real even if its plated gold this also works for silver and if the black streaks are dark its more solid so any face base foundation will work but has to be liquid and no moisturizers just plain old base any shade
Your coin guy is right gold and silver will not attract to a magnet, however, the fact that it doesn't attract to a magnet does not definitively say it is gold or silver because other metals used in jewelry making do not attract to a magnet either: copper, zinc, brass, nickel to name a few. To definitely check it there are gold buyers everywhere, they will scratch test it for you, they will then make you an offer but you don't have to take the offer....hope this helped.
