mc hammer Dancing machine lp. great condition hardly used. Im a retired dj looking to clean out my crates. Please do not bid if you are not willing to pay shipping costs. and as ALWAYS, PAYPAL IS NEVER ACCEPTED. Please do not ask there is no exceptions. I dont ever do paypal payments. Only check or money order. the envelope i have to ship it in is padded and has to go priority so that will cost u $5.85 in total. I have sent records out before and this is the best way to guarantee nothing will happen to records. plus u get tracking this way. This is a relist cause after 24 days of no response or shipping costs i had to relist

Why does it say $2.29 flat rate shipping and then you up it by more than $3 in your description? Also, I sell records all the time--via USPS media mail, it costs $2.83 for a single lp in a box.

reread. It's a flat rate of $2.29 the other money is for the special bubble envelope they put it in not to crack total $5.85 i have sent at least a dozen records out in the past month so i know the total by heart. just like its only $2.07 to send out any die cats cars but people are always putting more. i haven sent over 100 die cast cars out int he past yr and never paid more than $2.07. Bam, there's your answer i go by what my post office charges me not what other people think it should be. i keep all the receipts in case there are questions and sned copies if need be which was never the case before

My point is that you should be up front in the listing if you're charging more shipping. And it's not "what others think it should be," the post office has other shipping options--you're choosing to use only one which is fine.
How I arrive lower is by getting these boxes (net cost of $0.30 a piece): http://www.amazon.com/Record-Mailing-Boxes-Mailers-FingerPop/dp/B0034PU6Y8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1378493551&sr=8-1&keywords=lp+boxes and send them via media mail for $2.83 for a total cost of $3.13. Not saying you have to, but if you have a lot of records to sell, this is a way of doing it for a cheaper cost for both you and the consumer---good for everyone.

wait i can't get to that website u just sent me, send it again. as for mys hipping i am upfront i explain in my discription. i have never had a problem before until now. its all good. i try to make everything as cheap as possible. the envelope is awesome its all padded and protects it from getting cracked or scratched so people love when i send it in those envelopes. It shows i care what happens to their winnings..:) which i do actually

You'll probably have to copy/paste it. I'm not saying you don't care at all--just letting you know there are other options that also protect the albums that can save you both a couple bucks.
