Brand new with the plastic piece still on dial winder. So watch has not been started.

They are not marked one way or the other. They do smell like they could be leather, but I'm not sure

I am not ignoring your question I have been working a lot of overtime and have just had time to check them. They are not marked so I can't say. They do have a leather smell but as I said they are not marked one way or the other.
