Yes, I love them too. Cameos remind me of the 1920, with the Gibson Girls and the high neck lace collars on the dresses, a romantic time, when a lady was a lady and yes, men were all gentlemen. Not like in todays time when most men treat woman just like everyone else. I am a hopeless romantic, I married my husband, of eleven years, in 42 days. I so love this ring. I can't even begin to tell you how much it would mean to me if I won it. My grandmother, years ago, gave me a Cameo Brochet. Same style as the ring. I have always treasured it. The ring would go beautiful with it. I know my grandmother would had loved it too.

It is beautiful! I also love cameos but it over powers my stubby fingers.I am going to list a cameo necklace soon I do not get to wear jewelry at my job and it has just been setting in my jewelry drawer not getting worn so I would rather let someone enjoy it, Good Luck

I am not sure it is brand new so I really do not think it is shell but it doesn't feel like plastic. although it is probably some type of a hard plastic. You know I never gave it much thought I just knew it was Sterling Silver when I bought it.
