I've used straight talk for years and have had NO problem. some phones use a sim card some don't depending on the type phone it is. straight talk has their phones made for "straighttalk", this is why one Blackberry works and another won't. here in S.E. Texas they use Verizon towers which is probably why I can travel over 300 miles from home and never lose service except in a couple "dead zones" where nobody gets service. if you have any questions about your area take a minute and go to "straighttalk.com" and type in your zip code, the info is more trustworthy than Wal Marts. this particular model is one they no longer sell but should work just fine. sim cards cost $15 and you will need to purchase the $45 plan for this or any smart phone. it also uses a common charger which can be bought new for around $10. allison1120 altho still fairly new to listia is a trusted seller with good ratings so one should feel pretty safe bidding on her items. she has answered every ones questions and in a timely manor. so before you question her honesty or product knowledge do the research or keep comments to yourself. good luck Allison, hope you double the current bid, it's well worth it.
I am confused if it says takes a SIM but does. Hope it works for the winner. Plus doesn't say if charger or anything else is included. ??????
http://www.walmart.com/ip/ZTE-Warp-Sequent-Cell-Phone/21930861 - Check the phone by putting in your zip code to make sure it works. If ATT/Cingular never worked in your area then this phone may not work unless the SIM Card goes off Verizon or another Carriers tower in your area. I check my ZIP and no go. According to looking up this item it DOES NOT have a SIM card in it or option. Unless this isn't the right model # This device is NOT going to work in MANY areas due to Cingular/ATT not working as many areas as Verizon does.
