There is a small mark on the piece that goes through the ear but I can't read it, even with my glasses on lol!! My mother gave these to me and only gives me silver or gold because I can not put costume jewelry in my ears!! Hope that helps!!

It's definitely not nickel. I can not wear nickel earrings. When I got them as a gift they were marked as gold. I believe the dolphins are silver though.

thank you!! they are really sweet!! My daughters and I love to sit on the beach and watch the dolphins swim by. If we sit there long enough we get to see them swimming south and that back north again. They are amazing!!
