The listing, Averatec 3200 Laptop has ended.

I have a working Averatec 3200 laptop. Windows Xp is installed on a 40gb hard drive with 1 stick of 256mb memory/ram included. (The processor is 1.6 GHz) You can always purchase a stick of 512mb to upgrade but this computer only has 1 slot for ram. This is a small laptop 12' across with a working DVD-Rom/CD RW Drive.
Ok here is the down side of this computer... the battery will not hold any charge at all as soon as you unplug it, it powers off..There are 2 wires coming out of the back of the computer a black 1 and a grey 1. I thought they were the wireless card cables but I have never seen the attachments on the ends before so I dont know. This computer is not perfect but i know for sure it runs and runs pretty well with an ethernet plugged in. Oh yeah the orginal charger is also included :)

Yeah its a computer that gets on the internet so yes you will be able to do all the listiaing you want on this computer.

actually this is going to cost 10.70-15.00 since it won't fit in the small flatrate box, or are you using ups or fed ex or something? Please share this with the rest of us cuz it could help us all with cheaper shipping on our own auctions!!!!

i havent really thought that hard about who im going to ship it with. didnt think it was going to be an issue. all i was doing was trying to cut someone a break. i know how it is to want something on a FREE website and not being able to get it because of the shipping cost. I never thought that i would actually have people tell me i was wrong about the low shipping charge than argue the fact again. if its that big of a deal and your the one who wins then by all means go ahead and pay all the shipping yourself. cool

Ok just went to www.usps.com and found out to ship a large flat rate box under 10 pounds would cost $55.45.

So from what I understand thic computer only goes on internet with a ethnernet cord ? that means that it would have to be plugged in from the modern which is usually connected to a computer which means that laptop will work only on wifi only when your rifght next to the pc with internet. So that means you can't just take this anywhere you want and go on net ?

WOW! Yes it does have to be connected to an ether net cord, excatly how I stated in my description, MEANING I have wireless internet in my home because I work alot with different comptuers MEANING I have a wireless router that I plug in an ether net cord to and run it to this computer. In which to me was really not a big deal. So yes that does MEAN you cant take it anywhere and get on the internet wireless. I never said you could. You know what I MEAN? :)

Oh yeah since i am new to listia... everyone knows until established you dont receive credits until the winner receives their winnings. Once I receive a confirmation number and send it to the winner I would like to receive my credits since the packaged can be tracked. I want to use these credits on my children for Christmas.
