The listing, Antique Victorian Era Steel & Bone Crochet Hook Carved Delicate has ended.

All of 4-1/2 inches long, this delicate steel hook is surrounded by carved bone throughout the handle. This hook is very small and was used in the mid-late 1800's early 1900s for fine lace. Enlarge for details. I can't even begin to imagine the eyesight one had to have!
A true marvel! Will be packed with utmost care!

I have a gauge. When I stick it thru the gauge for crochet needles it is SMALLER than a 000.

Really lovely piece! It is my opinion as a lifelong lace crocheter that this is anywhere from a size #12 to#15.I don't go this small anymore-eyesight is the reason for sure but these were also tough to work with because your index finger would get to sore & occasionally get poked enough to bleed.Talk about suffering for your art!

I found a size 14 crochet hook and this one appears smaller than that one. Eyes could be deceiving me tho! Either way- the listing one is small!
