His many miracles were well documented, a number verified by witnesses, one famous one where he was giving a sermon in one place, and realized he'd promised to be in another city, he appeared to that church also!! One unconfirmed legend is that he produced a miracle when a young man angry at his mother kicked her. He reported this to ST . Anthony , saying he didn't deserve to have that foot, St Anthony agreed it was very wrong, and the boy went home and cut of his own foot!! Later St. Anthony performed a miracle by returning the young mans foot just as it were before, since he had repented.Overall he is considered among the most well liked and so many portraits and paintings of him exist today. I have tried to decide which Benedetti did this engraving, but so far I am still researching it. It is quite old and in my possession, but it was clearly well used and in someone's pocket for a very longtime, you can see the creases and wear , water or wine stains, this print carries a lot of love by whomever once owned it. I am not Catholic myself but I love the image of him holding the Infant Jesus, whom he adored, and surrendered his whole life for.So, I thought it would be nice to share it(the image) with anyone else who likes it ,too,I will keep my original,
